Marriage, kids vs. in a relationship and career

We talk about awkward teen years, the hormones running rampant, breasts appearing voices breaking and generally, being outta sorts.

Well guess what, 10 years after my first period, I’m in the same situation all over again. Except the playing field has completely changed. It’s worse than going training bra shopping. This is Woman World, and it will always be the same. Damn scary.

So what am I on about?

I've had it!

I've had it!

Marriage, kids vs. ‘in a relationship and career’

It has just gotten worse, now days we don’t shun single woman who have careers, we pick on woman in successful relationships with careers who don’t want kids or want to get married.

It’s as though, my boyfriend is going to waste by being with me, because I don’t want children or want to get married…EVER.

A friend of mine actually messaged my boyfriend, and asked him why he hasn’t asked me to marry him yet, or why I haven’t brought up the marriage question yet. That she thinss it’s time we got married because its not right that we have been together for so long (7 years). We haven’t had kids yet and have no intention of getting married!

Honestly, why get married if everything is fine the way it is. Why have kids in a world where you can’t trust anyone. I don’t even think I am maternal, not to mention I just can’t afford to have kids. The worst part, is that she would be in my business trying to set me up with people if I were single. Because I am not single, and in a relationship something must be wrong with me?

So you are damned if you are single and damned if you are in a relationship but don’t want to get married? What do I do now?

Has this ever happened to you?

do what you want. you often find people who get married, realise it’s not that great, have kids, realise it’s not that great either, and then try convince their friends to fall into the same no-that-great lifestyle (or trap, if you’re one for being blunt) as them.

srsly. don’t know why anyone would have kids unless it was a mistake.

too much life to live. to much rad stuff to buy. to many kiff brands to endorse.
